WHAT WE DO

Based on our understanding of God's Word

PDF version of the statements below with scripture text added.  WE_BELIEVE_outline.pdf

PDF version of a tri-fold quick Bible reference - print two sided.  Quick_Bible_Reference_tri-fold.pdf

We believe God is all knowing, all powerful, always present, and the reason for all we do.

We believe the Bible is God's inspired word and that, through the study and application of it, we have everything we need for daily living and Godliness.

We believe Jesus is God's one and only son and through faith in Him and obedience of Him comes eternal life.

We believe that baptism, by immersion, is a participation in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and is essential for salvation.

We believe the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is a gift received at the time of our baptism.

We believe acceptable worship is a celebration following the pattern of the New Testament (prayer, singing, communion, preaching / teaching, giving) and begins with a transformed life.

We believe that without faith it is impossible to please God.

We believe that all families will be successful if the primary focus of each family member is a personal commitment to follow Jesus and apply God’s word.

We believe in unity based on one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God.

We believe that the blessings of Jesus are not for us alone and it is our duty to share the Gospel with others.

WHAT WE DO

Be Disciples, Make Disciples

After His death, burial, and resurrection,

Jesus Christ commanded His disciples to "make disciples of all nations,

baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:19, 20a).

A disciple of Jesus is a student or apprentice

who has the goal of becoming like Jesus.

Be a Blessing

As disciples of Jesus, we stive to be a blessing to each other and to take care of each other.

And even though we are all different, we work together as one body, each person doing their part,

and strive to bring glory to God by providing for each other's physical and spiritual needs.
