Leonard church of Christ
My name is Jerry Scoggins. I have served as an elder for the Leonard church of Christ since 1981. I also served as a deacon from 1979-1981. I grew up in Ladonia, Tx, and after graduation from the Ladonia high school, I married Carol Morrow Scoggins on April 19, 1963. We moved to Leonard in May of 1971, and began worshipping with the Leonard congregation. We have three grown sons, Craig, Clay, and Mark Scoggins. We have 9 grandchildren who are our pride and joy. Carol and I love the Leonard church and want to serve you in any way that we possibly can. Please feel free to contact us if there is a need or a concern that we can assist you with.
My name is Charles Wrenn. I presently am one of four elders who oversee the Leonard church of Christ. I grew up in Savoy, Texas and after graduating from Savoy High School, I attended and graduated from Harding university in Searcy, Arkansas where I majored in Bible and Social Work. Upon graduation from college, I preached full-time for local congregations of the church of Christ in Kingman, Kansas and Bonham and Leonard, Texas.
In 1994 I ceased my work as a full-time gospel preacher and attended Dallas Institute for Funeral Service to train to be a funeral director and embalmer. At the present time, I am employed as a funeral director at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Leonard.
